DRXQUINNX

DrxQuinnx is an independent, multi-talented artist. Producer/Emcee based out of Chicago, DrxQuinnx is one half of the collaborative group with Lil Kydd known as "The Citizen", as well as one-third of the Midwest Hip-Hop trio Bullies, with Detroit artist Denmark Vessey and Florida producer Azarias. Growing up, Quinn Found himself influenced by artist such as Madlib, J Dilla, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Mos Def, all of whom inspired his heavily sample based production and rap style. DrxQuinnx is now known for his unorthodox rap and production style, which melds 90's boom bap/ breakbeat, jungle/drum and bass, jazz, EDM, trap, as well as 8-bit and punk rock elements. 

Quinn is making great strides in his career, having released 12 projects as well as reserved the pleasure of opening for such artist as: Lupe Fiasco (2009), Qwel & Maker (2011), Curren$y (2012), Red Pill, King Fantastic (2015), Murs (2015 and 2017) Jay Electronica (2016), Reverie and Sahtyre (2016) Silver Room Block Party (2016) DZ Fest (2021) J Dilla Tribute Show Featuring The Chicago Black American Orchestra (2022).
